It was 2002 on the south side of Chicago in the Roseland neighborhood where Jerry and Jordan first laid eyes on one another. They were in 3rd grade when Jerry transferred to Salem Christian Academy. A friendship, a bond, and a connection was made between them right away. Although they were very young they had each other’s back through and through for many years. During these times most people knew that Jordan was feisty and hardheaded, while Jerry was the complete opposite being very calm and reserved.

Their friendship grew closer for many years until they graduated together in 2009. While they both attended different high schools, they maintained their friendship throughout the years. They attended homecomings together, had friendship hangouts, and talked as often as they could. As years went on and distance grew further away they talked here and there until 2019.

On December 5th,2019 while Jerry was still living in Louisiana he called Jordan and made arrangements for them to see each other when he came to Chicago for a Christmas break visit. They went to brunch and shared many memories and laughs. While Jordan was still very head strong and independent Jerry quickly changed things for her. Their relationship grew stronger and the bond became unbreakable. Their friendship grew into something much more. They officially became a couple July 4th,2020 sharing a special love for each other that was very undeniable. Throughout the years of dating their love grew stronger and stronger and they knew this was meant to be. Their family grew a little bigger as they welcomed their beautiful baby girl to the world on June 23, 2024.

On August 24th,2024 Jerry asked Jordan to be his wife and she said yes! They are both so excited and over joyed to meet each other at the altar to celebrate their love!
